Doggie Daycare

At Friendly Paws Littles, we take great pride in providing a wide variety of services for your pup, including our popular doggie daycare program. Our facility, conveniently located in the Carnegie/Robinson area near Pittsburgh, is designed to cater to all of your pet’s needs.

Our experienced staff is dedicated to ensuring that your pup receives plenty of exercise and socialization in a safe and secure environment. At doggie daycare, your dog will have the opportunity to play with other dogs, make new friends, and burn off excess energy.

Doggie Daycare Requirements

We take the health and safety of all of our guests very seriously. That’s why we require that all dogs participating in doggie daycare be spayed or neutered, and be up-to-date on their Bordetella, rabies, and distemper vaccinations. If your puppy is too young to have the procedure, please call to discuss your options with a member of Friendly Paws staff.

If you are interested in enrolling your dog in our doggie daycare program, you can create an account and submit a request here. All necessary paperwork must be submitted to Friendly Paws when requesting the first day of daycare.

We look forward to welcoming your pup to our daycare family!

Required Vaccinations

  • Rabies
  • Distemper
  • Bordetella

It is MANDATORY that the Bordetella vaccine (kennel cough) be updated every six months.

All vaccination records must be received before a reservation request can be processed.

Why Doggie Daycare is Beneficial for Your Furry Friend

If you’re a pet owner, you may be wondering if doggie daycare is right for your four-legged friend. Let us tell you, it definitely is! Here are just a few reasons why:

Exercise & Socialization

One of the biggest benefits of doggie daycare is the opportunity for your pup to engage in playtime throughout the day and express normal doggy behavior. Your pup will have plenty of chances to meet and play with new dogs, learn how to properly socialize, and interact with other dogs in a safe and controlled environment.

Provides Routine

Dogs are creatures of habit and thrive on routine. Sending your dog to daycare will help maintain a daily routine of exercise and playtime, keeping them happy, healthy, and well-adjusted.

Expert-Supervised Playtime

As much as we love our pups, it can be challenging to monitor their playtime with other dogs. That’s where doggie daycare comes in! Our experienced staff is trained to interpret dog body language and ensure all the dogs are comfortable during playtime.

Relief From Boredom and Anxiety

Leaving your dog at home all day while you work can cause boredom and anxiety, potentially leading to destructive behavior. But sending your dog to daycare provides them with plenty of stimulation and opportunities to prevent any boredom, keeping them happy and healthy.

A Tired Dog is a Happy Dog

After a day of playtime and exercise, your pup is sure to be tired and content. A tired dog is a happy dog, and a happy dog means a happy owner!

A Good Solution For Busy Owners

For pet owners who work long hours, leaving their dog at home for extended periods of time can be a source of guilt and stress. But with doggie daycare, your furry friend will have multiple opportunities to potty and be entertained throughout the day while you’re away. It’s a win-win for both you and your dog!
